Eglise aux Milles Arches was a neo-Gothic church built in 1876. Due to structural concerns, it was demolished in December 2019.
The Quake Arena is an impressive warehouse in Germany. The four-storey building has a triangular shape, and an iconic large central atrium with skylight.
This replica of the Terracotta Army features over 200 figures. The dusty collection includes models of soldiers, generals and horses.
Les Thermes Bleus is a thermal spa complex in France, frozen in time since it was abandoned in the 1980s. It has beautiful natural decay.
Dark Music School (Collegio S) was a Roman Catholic boarding school, abandoned in the 1980s. There are classrooms, an auditorium and chapel.
Chapelle des Pelotes is an abandoned chapel in northern France. The chapel features 13th Century inspired Gothic architecture.
Industrial Dance Floor is an abandoned Art Deco power house in Germany. The company originally made bicycles and typewriters. Later, they produced cars.
This Nazi Military Barracks was built in the 1930s and has been abandoned since the 1990s. There is a mosaic featuring an eagle, iron cross and Swastika.
Cemitério Ossuary is an old church and ossuary within a Portuguese cemetery. The church architecture is muted Baroque/Rococo. Human bones litter the floor.
The President Palace is a large and decadently decorated Portuguese mansion. This house is located in picturesque countryside.
Cinema Extravaganza is a small Portuguese cinema/theatre, which opened in the 1940s. It has been abandoned for over 15 years.
Oval Crypta is a mausoleum in Portugal. The walls are lined with repositories filled with the bones. Theses people were too poor to afford a private plot.
Hotel El Paraíso is an abandoned hotel in the north of Portugal. This wonderfully rustic hotel has been abandoned since the late 1990s.
The Dictatorship Palace was built in the late 19th Century. It was once home of a professor of medicine and was then acquired by the state in the 1920s.
Seminary Of Emptiness has lay abandoned for decades. This building was once a religious college, preparing students for the priesthood.
Dusty crimson relics lie inside the unassuming building of Caserne Saint Bernard. This is a "cimetière des camions de pompiers"; a cemetery of fire trucks.
Textilwerk Turbine is a former, now abandoned, textile factory in Germany. The powerplant contains a single, cobalt blue turbine.
