Changing your mind about an order
Order never arrives/ order missing in the post
My goal at Obsidian Urbex Photography is your complete satisfaction with your experience. I also believe in clear communication and transparency; you will get this from me at all times. This is my promise to you! With that in mind, please do reach out to talk to me at any point on social media or via my Contact Me form. If you have placed an order, you can also reply to your Order Confirmation/Disptach emails to get in touch with me directly.
It is perfectly fine to change your mind about an order (we all do it!). If I have not yet dispatched your order, reach out and we can arrange the cancellation. If the order has already despatched, my refund policy is outlined below;
Prints and Custom Made Artwork
Each printed item is created especially for you; I do not hold stock of most prints. Due to the bespoke nature of these items, once sent I cannot offer a return/refund on these if you change your mind about your order.
Other items (books, greetings cards, postcards, calendars)
For these items which I hold in stock, I am very happy to offer a full refund. All you have to do is contact me within 30 days of your order date, and we can get started. I will ask you to pay for the return postage of the item, I advise using tracked postage as items lost in the post cannot be refunded.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Once your return is received and inspected, I send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item. I will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and refunded to the debit/credit card or PayPal/Google Pay/Apply Pay account that you made the payment from.
Please get in touch with me immediately if your order is damaged or defective in any way, and we can arrange to have it replaced in a timely fashion. I will usually ask for full details and ask you to include photographs, to enable me to process the replacement efficiently.
If you have not received your order, or would like to reach out with concerns about location the first step is to contact me. My free postage typically do not include tracking, so please keep this in mind and consider my Express/Tracked shipping options if you have any concerns. However, for all orders, if you have not received your order after a reasonable time frame I will happily investigate with the delivery service. Any order lost in transit I will chase up as a matter of urgency, and keep you updated on my findings. After confirmation from the postal service that the item is lost, I will be in touch to discuss your options (refund, or to have a free replacement sent out).
